Chakela Hotels & Resorts offers local and international accommodation at over 80 hotels and resorts throughout Africa. They offer a booking engine that makes direct booking online easy. Guests can find the hotel of their choice within the Chakela network, book accommodation themselves, and benefit from the low rates offered through the Chakela booking system.
Chakela also offer marketing services and reservations systems to independent hotels and hotel groups in Africa. Their strategic network of hotel affiliates is able to compete on a local and international level. Advertising and marketing offered by Chakela Hotels deals with Global Distribution Systems, Internet Distribution Systems and individual website booking systems.
The Kashback loyalty card programme is an initiative by Chakela Hotels & Resorts to reward returning guests. The hotel network includes establishments across South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mauritius and Mozambique. However, this loyalty programme is unlike any other.
Members of the Kashback rewards programme not only receive discounts on accommodation rates, but get cash deposited back into their bank account, 30 days after every stay.
How does this work? Basically, when booking at a hotel in the Chakela Hotels & Resorts network, members of the Kashback programme receive an immediate 15% discount on the regular daily tariff of the hotel. 30 days after their stay, members receive 8% of the original cost of their stay back, directly into their bank accounts. Rather than reward guests and consumers with air miles, vouchers or virtual money, Kashback gives you money into your pocket. The 8% Kashback amount will be refunded on the first stay, and if this amount is less than the membership fee, the entire membership fee will be refunded.
