Cape Town International Opera Festival
This three week event is held at the Nico Theatre Complex and showcases the best of South African opera singers.

Moby Dick Hermanus Whale Festival
The Hermanus Whale Festival is another world famous event held just an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Each year in the spring, Southern Right Whales begin to swim close to the shore along the southern shores of the Cape to mate and calve. The festival celebrates the playful antics of the Southern Right Whale, an incredible spectacle. Visitors can also enjoy some Cape Culture in the form of theatre, music and a craft market
