January News:
The first month of 2011 was a busy month for our hotels. There were various conferences at the Lady Hamilton and more to come in February. The Lady Hamilton has secured various well known organisations as regular and returning clients.
The lifts at the Fountains Hotel have been replaced and are in tip-top shape, ready to cope with a hotel full of guests!
The pools at our hotels have certainly been the place to be this month, thanks to the hot weather. The Lady Hamilton and Strand Tower Hotel guests have spent the hot days cooling off in the swimming pools and relaxing on the pool-side sun loungers.
The Strand Tower Hotel has two new members of staff on the Management Team: Jean Pierre Moggee, who is the new Duty Manager, and Karleen Thornton who is the new Facility Manager. We wish them well in their new positions and send a heartfelt welcome to the Leisure Hotels family!

Employee of the Month:
Moenier Alexander started at the Strand Tower Hotel before the official opening in May and all the team members have expressed what a pleasure it is to work with him. He is always pleasant, always helpful and would never say no to any request sent his way. The guests consider him a delight and he is often raved about in the comment cards. Moenier has a can-do attitude and he is a perfect example of a “busy bee” – constantly working on something! The team at Strand Tower look forward to see how Moenier will continue to grow with the company – keep up the good work “Spike”!
