Making a difference this festive season…

The Leisure Education Trust banquet was held at Strand Tower Hotel on November 10th. Much fun was had by all who attended the dinner and auction. All monies raised will go directly towards funding the education of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Thank you to everyone for your generosity and continued support.

On the 25th November, Beyond Education, a non-profit organisation aimed at empowering and educating the poor and disadvantaged hosted their annual Christmas Party. The party is held, each year, in DuNoon informal settlement near Tableview. The children and teachers of Zusakhe Creche and Youth Group, as well as the home-based carers employed to care daily for those living with Aids within the community were blessed with a good meal and gift box filled with special goodies. It was a special day for all who attended. Thank you to those who unselfishly made it possible.
